This report documents the findings of Ajay Khorana of Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Georgia Institute of Technology, Henri Servaes of London Business School, CEPR and ECGI, and Peter Tufano of Harvard Business School and NBER. The average fees vary widely by country, but equity mutual funds in Canada are shown to be the highest in the world at 3%.
